The Story of Strain Station
From Humboldt to Northern Europe

Where it started
Strain Station began during the latter half of 2024.
The project was built around a clear idea: to bring carefully selected California genetics into its own original concept.
The vision, concept and direction behind Strain Station were planned from the beginning around genetics, Northern climates, grower experience, testing, documentation and long-term development.
The seeds for the first Strain Station drop were brought to Europe by Anthony. He had spent seven years working in the cannabis fields of Humboldt County, California, giving him first-hand experience from one of the world’s most recognised cannabis regions.

The first 10
The first Strain Station release consisted of 10 autoflower varieties.
The release was built around selecting genetics with strong potential for Northern European growers while maintaining a connection to California genetics and breeding culture.
Public breeder information describes the original release as 10 autoflower varieties selected from a larger group of candidates, with testing connected to both California and Finland.

A year of silence
After the first release, Strain Station entered a quieter period.
For roughly a year, the work continued behind the scenes: planning new drops, working on future genetics and thinking carefully about what should come next.
It was a deliberate period of development and planning, not a disappearance. Strain Station was preparing the next stage.

Now that period is coming to an end. The time has finally come to bring new Strain Station genetics to the market.
The next drops continue the project and mark the next step in its development.

First drop — still available
Some seeds from the original Strain Station drop are still available through Ghost Town Seeds.

Second chapter — new drop
The second chapter of Strain Station begins with a new drop: 10 feminized photoperiod varieties.
The second chapter focuses on releasing the newest genetics from the USA — not old, long-standing genetics.
The new drop is available in the Strain Station online store as packs of 5 seeds, with the first shipments starting during the first week of October.
